Digital accessibility status
This website is partially compliant with the Annex to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities, due to the non-compliance and exemptions listed below.
Inaccessible content
Non-compliance with the Annex
- External ticketing system — the ticket purchase page embeds a form from an external ticketing system (bilety.una-krakow.pl). This content is not under the control of the public entity. Users relying solely on a keyboard may encounter difficulties in navigating away from the form area. Alternative methods of purchasing a ticket: by telephone or email using the details provided in the “Feedback and contact details” section.
- Content provided by the content management system — some of the texts and graphics on the events page come from an external system and may include images without alternative descriptions or an inconsistent heading structure if they have not been updated by the editor. The public entity makes endeavours to ensure that content uploaded to the system meets accessibility requirements.
Exemptions
Content embedded via the external ticketing system (bilety.una-krakow.pl) is exempt from accessibility requirements because the public entity does not control this system and cannot make the necessary modifications.
Users relying solely on a keyboard can navigate the website freely. All interactive elements are accessible via the keyboard, and the focus moves across the page in a logical order.
Navigation is accessible for visually impaired users thanks to descriptive subsection titles, a logical heading structure, and a “Skip to content” mechanism that allows users to bypass navigation. Images and graphics include alternative text descriptions.
We have ensured that the text contrasts sufficiently with the background, making the content legible even for those with impaired vision. The website offers three font sizes that can be adjusted via the footer — preferences are remembered between visits. The site functions correctly when zoomed in to 200% in the browser.
The website is available in two languages: Polish and English. Links to external websites open in a new tab and are appropriately indicated.
